Psst... we are number one!
AIESEC Singapore is constituted of three Local Committees (or LCs) out of which LC NUS is one. This year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), after some five years or so, AIESEC in NUS has been awarded with the LC of the Year award. This milestone achieved speaks for the leaders from the previous year's local committee who were so passionate about AIESEC and have made a significant impact. On behalf of the new local committee (dubbed as The Vikings) we thank our predecessors for giving us such a solid foundation to work on. Thank you so much! Congratulations AIESEC in NUS!
Another major milestone achieved at this year's AGM was pronouncing AIESEC in SMU as a "full LC", which means it does not need to operate under AIESEC in NUS anymore. They have their own account at AIESEC.net now and they are also eligible to run for the Best LC Award now onwards. Congratulations AIESEC in SMU!
After many years, the AIESEC Singapore Constitution was also ammended at the AGM, alongwith Rewards & Recognition 2006-07:
